Sheep Meadow Dance Theatre
I had set out to simply shoot a ballerina in a quiet aloneness. I had seen the room before and knew its spaciousness and abundant light would serve my needs well. I knew my ballerina was beautiful and talented but was not prepared for her exquisite theatricality and style. I followed her lead as best I could and I am thrilled with the results. Bodies Never Lie
Dance Company
So honored to have the trust of Bodies Never Lie Dance Company under Jessica Moore Ruhlin. I have seen them perform several times with Candlelight Concerts by Fever, NY. Prior to one of their performances, the corps was kind enough to sit quickly for some portraits upstairs in The Williamsburg Opera House. All six are students with The Joffrey Ballet School in Manhattan which was an added honor. Here are Andrea Licaj, Myka Damas, Emily Zatorski, Isabella Arce, Ben Stoesz and Emily McDean.
